Accurate Groundwork with Buster McLaury

Excerpt from the Horseman’s Gazette Issue No. 22

Having your horse with you is a concept that is familiar. We think about it a lot when we are riding, but as Buster McLaury highlights it is also essential on the ground. Buster shows some simple groundwork exercises so you can see just how much your horse is with you, because as he says, if the connection isn’t there on the ground, “You needn’t think he’s going to ride any different.”
