This is the best horseman magazine I have read, no matter what you’re riding discipline is, focusing on the needs of our horses. Ray Hunt’s “You are not working on the horse, you are working on yourself” perspective comes through among all the writing contributors. How do you know exactly what I need to read each month! I had left my subscription expire for a while and when I renewed the very first magazine had articles that were spot on for me! Issue No. 116 had articles about feel and the power of intentional horsemanship. SUPER. I do have to say I am not so much into some of the articles in every magazine but you never fail to provide me with information that I NEED to hear and it is usually exactly when it is needed. you are magical. Thank you for providing such an informative magazine for those of us that take our horsemanship journey serious.

Consistently good articles by horsemen who are “for the horse “. The contributing authors have taught me so much over the years. I have a few years of back subscriptions in digital format and I keep going back to the articles, particularly Dr Deb Bennett’s How Horses Work, as the information is so valuable and trustworthy. I really have found this magazine to be thoroughly engrossing. It is the only horse magazine ( actually the only magazine period) that I read in its entirety. Heck I even enjoy the ads.
The experts who write the articles are actually experts, how novel in the magazine world. Good job Eclectic Horseman, good job!
