We arrived in Ogden for the Great Basin Buckaroo Gathering on Thursday night about 5pm. Truck unloaded and Sydney and Jill were setting up the booth, I was able to wrangle a bit of time from Martin Black (he had just arrived from Bruneau, Idaho about the same time) to film a segment for a future issue of The Horseman’s Gazette.

Martin had some great ideas of what to work on and he got right to work warming up his horse. The light was amazing, the wind minimal and we had the arena to ourselves. Look for a great segment on bringing the life up and letting it come back down without emotion in a future segment of The Horseman’s Gazette.
