Think Harmony with Horses by Ray Hunt was published in book form in the fall of 1978. The book material was gathered during the many hours of listening as Ray shared his feelings and ideas about horses with many eager students. Ray had been on a quest to share his feelings about horses since he had been influenced by “the horse’s lawyer,” Tom Dorrance, a decade before.
In the early years, especially between 1971 and 1978, facilities were whatever would work for a group; from empty spud cellars and summer ice arenas to Jordan Valley Rodeo arena during a pouring down rain (well, most everyone had a slicker), this photo was taken at such a gathering.

I bought the book in 1980 and have read it at least 5 times, then I found this CD I gota tell ya it is amazing money well spent it is with me on every trip I take and I play it on computer when I’am home working in the office, John Ryan does an excellent job of narrating, if you want to become a better Horseman I whole heartedly recommend this CD

I read this book many years ago and often think back on it. It doesn’t just hand you the answers your looking for but it makes you think it out yourself. Time to read it again.

I really appreciate having this book in audio format, and there could be no one better to narrate than John St. Ryan! This is one that you cannot listen to too many times. Each listen, I gain more appreciation for all of the wisdom contained between the covers of this little treasure!
