In an equine world with such a massive variety of horses and training training methods no publication is as diverse. Their customer service is 5 ++ . They provide sooo many ways to “study” anything Equne.

I really enjoy getting my magazine. There is a good variety of topics in it from training tips to understanding horse anatomy which I appreciate. I also appreciate a variety of views you get by multiple authors from different backgrounds vs. only reading info from one trainer.

This publication is the only one I have been able to find that is dedicated to growing horseman. If you have a genuine desire to improve your relationship with your horse and progress from rider to horseman- this is the perfect resource for you! I love how practical it is, the pictures are so helpful and the advice is sound. There’s nothing generic and no hype in this publication. It is pure instruction, beautiful perspectives and a delight to receive in the mail.

I LOVE this magazine. It is the only “horse” magazine that I now subscribe to, because of of the useful, educational, and valuable articles, it’s the only one worth it. No fluff, every article is very wise and well written by the best in the industry. If you are serious about REAL horsemanship this is a very good resource.

This magazine is the best around as far as educating horse owners. And the variety is really good even if an article doesn’t seem pertinent to you at the time, you can always go back and read. I enjoy all the horseman that have been interviewed too. I’ve kept all my issues for reference and am planning on renewing soon.

I have subscribed to this magazine since its inception, and I can’t say enough about how useful it has been in improving my horsemanship. The articles are thoughtful and varied and the line illustrations that accompany many of them help greatly with one’s understanding of the concepts being discussed. I feel like the regular contributors like Buck Brannaman, Wendy Murdoch, Tom Moates, Alice Trindle, and Martin Black have become old friends. Eclectic Horseman gets my vote as the best Equine magazine available for the serious horseman.

My favorite informative equine magazine! Living in the southeast and riding hackamore and vaquero style riding I find the articles in this magazine extremely helpful and have learned a lot from my subscription over the years.

There is no other equestrian magazine like Eclectic Horseman. The articles cover topics that I rarely see addressed in other horse publications. The magazine’s commitment to improving the education of its readers comes through loud and clear in every issue. I find the magazine so valuable that I bought a three year subscription and would highly recommend that others do so too.

This is the only Horse & Equine publication I keep now. The articles, and many series are superb… this just what works info has helped me continue in my education and horse skills and never ceases to inspire me. Recently getting a new mare at age 66 + has been a bit intimidating at times… but with your teachings coming to my door…like feeling what a horse needs… Thanks to Ray, Buck, Smokie, Joe, Lee, Jim, for the clinics and for patience in teaching us a better way, for the good of horses and humans everywhere.
