In this lesson horseman Tom Curtin demonstrates how to make the most of this opportunity and gives you another tool in your toolbox ready for when the time is right.

• Taking the Half-Pass into the Trot with Jim Hicks (23:18)
The half-pass is a movement that stumps many riders. Building on the prior lesson of half-pass at the walk Jim Hicks now takes the movement into the trot. Starting with the necessary elements that must be in place before asking for the movement Jim does a great job demystifying the half-pass and taking his horse’s power into the movement while maintaining communication and rhythm.
