“Staci Grosskopf is the subject of this drawing. I wanted to capture that sweet moment when she’s thanking her horse for doing a good job. It was an unbelievably difficult drawing to do, but I think it’s a very sweet piece that so many horse people can relate to. You have to zoom in on the drawing, but my favorite part is the little pearl earring she’s wearing. I know that’s a strange thing to focus on, but sometimes it’s the little things!”
