Product Description
“Longeing is a great way to introduce students to the concept of non-physical push, and to get them to believe in their own powers involving their ‘personal bubble’ or ‘body aura,’ especially including the ability to project, enlarge, reshape, move, or intensify/diminish their bubble as needed. Body-bubble awareness is an essential aspect of ‘feel’—those without this awareness by definition have no feel.”
Join Eclectic Horseman contributor Deb Bennett, Ph.D. for a discussion about this often times contentious topic. Dr. Deb wrote about the subject in issue No.91 of Eclectic Horseman. This article will be a jumping off point for the discussion, a link to download this article will be included with your order.
From the article: To begin with, the proper term is not “lungeing” but “longeing”, a word derived from a French phrase that means “work on a long rein.” There is a world of difference between “lungeing” and work a longée and having made the distinction between “lungeing” and “longeing,” we have reason not to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
The class will be held Thursday January 11th via Zoom starting at 6pm MST. (check your time zone here)
Please plan on the class lasting at least an hour. We will start with Dr. Deb speaking on the topic of longing and then open the meeting up for questions. You’ll be able to engage directly with Dr. Deb and ask her your questions (on this topic, or any other.)
Classes will be recorded and you will have a copy of the class automatically added to your account in The Mercantile where you can watch it again, or if you missed the class watch what you missed!
Have any questions or aspects of the article you’d like to discuss? Post them to Dr. Deb in our forum ahead of the class!

Please note that Dr. Deb will also be giving suggestions for additional study resources on this topic.
