Eclectic Conversations – College Edition – Adam D’Agostino of Alfred University

As part of the ongoing series exploring educational opportunities at colleges and universities across the country Emily visited with Adam D’Agostino – Director of Equestrian Program/Head Western Coach at Alfred University in New York.

Emily and Adam discussed Alfred University’s unique features, including its diverse liberal arts offerings, world-renowned glass and ceramics programs, and a strong business program. They also discussed the equestrian program at the university, the recruitment process for students interested in joining the team, and the importance of understanding individual learning styles and adapting teaching methods accordingly. Adam also shared his observations on the changing nature of the horse industry, noting that it is not shrinking but rather reforming and diversifying.
