Excellent instruction in how to use the flag to promote understanding with different kinds of horses. To watch this experienced teacher is reward in itself. The video is divided into segments after which Joe comments on each one, so you hear his real time narration followed by his evaluation after watching it himself. Safety is stressed, various approaches are presented to prepare for different situations (being tied, saddled, roped off of, separated from other horses, and others), and when to take a recess covered. It’s all done with an open heart, empathy, and good humor. You could wear this DVD out and not absorb it all.
