Eclectic Classroom – Mastery, and Why Few People Achieve It

Have you ever struggled with your horsemanship? Are you feeling “stuck” or at a loss of how to solve a problem with your horse?

Join Eclectic Horseman contributor Deb Bennett, Ph.D. for a discussion about what gets in our way when we are trying to achieve mastery. This conversation will encourage anyone who has felt trapped on a plateau!

Sign up for the class and you’ll receive a link to download the article Dr. Deb wrote on the subject, which outlines the various patterns that get in the way of us mastering our goals (horsemanship and otherwise.)

The article (and our discussion) will help you identify what your pattern is and by that help you make the changes you need to succeed with your horses because as Ray Hunt often said at his clinics, “I hope you people are here today to succeed with your horses. I hope you’re not just trying to get by. Because if you do that, you cheat yourself, you cheat me, and you cheat your horse.”

The class will be held Thursday November 16 via Zoom starting at 6pm MST. (check your time zone here)

Please plan on the class lasting at least an hour. We will start with Dr. Deb speaking on the topic of mastery and then open the meeting up for questions. You’ll be able to engage directly with Dr. Deb and ask her your questions (on this topic, or any other.)

Classes will be recorded and you will have a copy of the class automatically added to your account in The Mercantile where you can watch it again, or if you missed the class watch what you missed!
