Rawhide Braider Bryan Neubert
$5.00
Product Description
Horseman Bryan Neubert is not only known for his skills in working with wild horses, but also for his talent as a maker of traditional western gear. Braiding rawhide or leather is a time-consuming process where the techniques have been handed down through the generations. Bryan guides us through the steps of this art, from stretching the hide and cutting the strings to putting together a fine set of Santa Ynez reins. Along the way, he shares stories of his time with Fred and Bill Dorrance, both excellent cowboys who made their own gear. This story is an overview of the process and if you’re interested in starting your own project.
The original length of this lesson is 32 minutes 27 seconds
