Gene Armstrong taught more than a generation of students with equine aspirations about farrier science and horsemanship at CalPoly (California Polytechnic State University) in San Luis Obispo, California before retiring. Gene, now 81-years old, considers himself a student of the horse and even with his lifetime of experience continues to add to his knowledge. Gene is truly an inspiration and a wealth of knowledge; come prepared to learn and have fun.
