Lessons with Ellen Eckstein Part 3 – Katie and Willowby

Excerpt from the Horseman’s Gazette Issue No. 16

If you have ever wondered what an instructor is looking for and wanting out of a horse and rider this is a wonderful opportunity to be in the mind of instructor Ellen Eckstein as she narrates a lesson with one of her students. In this third  part of our series we are watching Katie and Willowby a 10-year-old Pre-Saint George level Hanovarian (Hanno-varian). Watch how the foundational exercises demonstrated in the first two segments with Ellen build to a higher level of performance from the warm up trot to the canter pirouettes.
