Excerpt from the Horseman’s Gazette Issue No. 3
Joe Wolter continues his cow working series in this segment with a young filly who does not demonstrate much interest or effort in cattle. In his patient manner, Joe encourages his horse without distracting her from the cow or punishing her for getting out of position. The idea here is for the cow to be the teacher and for the rider to simply support or add meaning to the cow’s movements. Watch as Joe’s filly learns to position herself more athletically as she begins to understand her job.
