Riding with a flag can develop confidence in horse and rider as well as develop skills at riding one handed. It is also a great tool to help get front and hindquarters operating freely. In this segment Kristi Fredrickson shows how to make sure your horse is first checked out on the ground and then how to take the flag into the saddle and begin to ride. Kristi and students demonstrate how to use the flag on your own horse, and how to help a friend with the flag from the saddle.
