Tilley’s Custom Colts and Horsemanship:
Horses are our life and we can’t imagine life without them. John and Jamie, along with their two daughters, own and operate Tilley’s Custom Colts and Horsemanship near LeRoy SK. They start and ride a variety of horses for the public. John and Jamie travel across the prairies conducting Horsemanship, Cow Work and Young Horse Handling clinics. In the past John has been employed as a Horse Wrangler, Pen Rider, and a Pasture Rider. He is very proud of his working cowboy past. John attributes much of his understanding of the horse to his time spent doing a real job horseback. He feels that it is important to keep these traditions alive for the future generation of horseman and horses. John has been featured in Canadian Cowboy Country Magazine and Horse Country Magazine. John is a three time judge and demonstrator at Horse 3 in Brandon MB. John has also been invited on two occasions to demonstrate good horsemanship at the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair.
